The fine print, kept short

Privacy

Draft placeholder. This policy has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It must be checked and completed (operator name, contact address, legal basis, hosting location) before launch.

Level Ten is a small indie game. We collect only what we need to run accounts, matches and chat, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

What we store

  • Your username. Other players can see it.
  • Your email address. Used to sign in and to contact you about your account. Never shown to other players.
  • Your password, hashed. We store a scrypt hash, never the password itself.
  • Match history and rating. Heroes you played, placements, levels reached and MMR. This appears on the leaderboard and your public profile.
  • Game progress. Your cloud save, unlocks and settings.
  • Friends and blocks. Who you added, and who you blocked.
  • Chat messages. Kept for 30 days so moderators can check reports, then deleted.
  • Reports. Reports you send or receive, and any moderation action taken.
  • Technical data. Your IP address is used briefly to limit sign-in attempts and stop abuse. Server logs may contain it for a short time.

What we don't do

  • No ads and no ad trackers.
  • No selling or renting your data.
  • No third-party analytics on this website.

Your browser

When you sign in, the website keeps your session tokens in your browser's local storage. Signing out removes them. We don't use cookies for tracking.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This erases your username, email, password, rating, cloud save, friends and blocks. Matches you played stay in other players' history, shown under the name "deleted". Chat logs expire on their normal 30-day schedule.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under laws such as the GDPR.

Children

Level Ten has online chat with strangers. It isn't meant for young children. Check the minimum age in the Terms.

Contact

Questions about your data: contact details will be added here before launch.
